Lena Traynham has long been a standout for her electrifying stage presence, wild flying hair and extraordinary vocal range, but as she prepares to debut her original music for the first time, she’s proving herself as a force to be reckoned with. Following in the footsteps of her dad, beloved DC area musician Harry Traynham, she began performing with him at age 11 and immediately it was clear that she wanted to do this for the rest of her life. In the years since she has continued to stand out in a wide variety of settings, touring in a popular folk rock band as vocalist and bassist, lending her talents to several DC area bands, and putting her unique spin on heartfelt acoustic renditions in intimate settings across the US. She began focusing more on her own original music in 2020, and her long awaited debut project is expected early 2024.
